In May 2010, the WFMT Council voted to return 2011-2014 membership rates to the original three-year fees. The rationale for this decision is to increase the membership benefits and provide support to advance and further the mission of the World Federation of Music Therapy.

These new membership benefits include expanding the WFMT Educational Center to include training modules, support new publications, support scholarship funds and research projects, provide global crisis funds, and support public relations endeavors.

The new membership rates are in line with rates with all professional organizations that were surveyed by the WMFT membership work group. One difference that we found is that the membership rates for WFMT are three-year rates as opposed to annual rates, which most organizations set for membership. We continue to offer sliding fee membership rates for organizations of varying size.

We look forward to your continued membership in the WFMT and helping to advance and growth the profession of music therapy throughout the world. You will continue to receive updates on all the new information, training opportunities and benefits available to you through your membership.

Online Application

1.Download 2011-2014 Membership Application Form, fill it out and send it along with the indicated documentation and membership fee to the WFMT Secretary. Payment must be included in USD for membership to be proceeded. Wire transferred receipts must be submitted with the application.
2.Register onsite at the WFMT Booth available at the 2011 World Congress of Music Therapy in Seoul, Korea. Bring your documentation and cash to pay your fee.

Patron membership is granted to individuals or groups, which wish to make a donations to the World Federation of Music Therapy.
