Hello all,

My name is Rose Fienman, and I am so pleased to be serving as the Executive Assistant to the WFMT Council.  Please visit the WFMT for Students page to see the projects we are currently working on to increase student involvement in WFMT. I am especially excited about our Window to the World and Connection Projects. Window to the World gives music therapy students the opportunity to publish their experiences with music therapy outside of their home country, and Connection allows students to share ideas and start an email correspondence with a peer from another country. 

The video on this page was created to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of WFMT.  We wanted to show that music therapy truly has become an international profession, aided in part by the fact that we all speak the common language of music. I hope you enjoy the brief video, and are inspired to think of people all around the world working alongside each other in the field of music therapy!

On behalf of music therapy students around the globe, congratulations on the accomplishments of the last 25 years!   We look forward to playing a vital role in the music therapy profession for the next 25 years…and beyond.
