The World Federation of Music Therapy (WFMT) is pleased to announce the official Call for Nominations for the WFMT Council for the 2026–2029 term. This is an important opportunity for members of our global community to help shape the future of the federation by nominating leaders who are committed to advancing music therapy worldwide.

The WFMT Council plays a central role in guiding the federation’s mission to promote music therapy across the globe through advocacy, education, research and international collaboration. By joining the Council, members contribute to strengthening our international network and supporting the continued growth of the profession.

- Assembly of Student Delegates
Nomination Period
November 28, 2025 – February 28, 2026
Eligibility
Nominees must be, or be willing to become, Individual Professional Members of WFMT. Students may be nominated for Student Delegate positions and must hold, or be willing to become, Student Individual Members of WFMT. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to the federation’s values, mission and goals.
