The excitement that is building as July and the 13th World Music Therapy Congress in Korea is fast approaching. A number of music therapists from Canada and the United States have made plans – but it is not too late to still grab a plane ticket and registration to join music therapists across the world in celebrating the joy and healing of music. If you are heading there, please look for me and introduce yourself. Meanwhile closer to home, Canadian music therapists will be attending their national conference May 5 – 7 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Best wishes to all of them for a wonderful conference! The next national conference in the United States will be in Atlanta, Georgia November 17-20, 2011. Coming soon on will be list of experts in Canada and the United States – professionals who are known for their work within a particular population or setting. I hope that the list will provided connections among music therapists within North American and across the world.
