The 13th WFMT World Congress in Seoul, Korea is an important event for music therapists in China as we have only a short travel distance, which makes it affordable for many of us to attend. The Chinese Professional Music Therapist Association (CPMTA) has been working hard to promote the congress. CPMTA posted the announcements about the 13th World Congress on the website and has sent three letters to all professional members, music therapy students, and others who are interested in music therapy to encourage them attending and participate in the congress. In addition, CPMTA continues to offer a special service to assist people who have difficulty filling out the English registration form and proceeding the online payment. We hope that more than 100 Chinese people will be able to attend the World Congress of Music Therapy in Seoul, Korea.
We believe that all Chinese delegates will be benefit from this world-class event. However, a real challenge is that most of our Chinese delegates are not able to understand the presentations given in English language and some of the Chinese speakers are having difficulty giving their presentation in English. To resolve this issue, CPMTA decided to hire a professional translator to go accompany the Chinese delegation during the entire congress. We appreciate that the congress organizer will translate the Opening, Closing, and Spotlight Sessions into Chinese and we are looking forward to collaborate to make this event a remarkable one for our CPMTA members.
