One beautiful week at the 14th World Congress of Music Therapy 2014 in Krems has passed, and I can proudly say I am going to step into a wonderful group of student delegates for the next term, 2014-2017, in the World Federation of Music Therapy. We are all very motivated to bring music therapy into the world, especially amongst students, and to create more opportunities to facilitate exchange of information between music therapy students all over the world.I had a wonderful time at the World Congress where I met so many people from India, China, Japan, Australia, USA, South America, the Netherlands, Austria and so many other countries. It was unbelievable to see how many different people are engaged in music therapy and how wonderfully they find their way in this field of work where many of us are actually doing pioneer work, which is not always as easy as we wish. Still I found out about all these interesting careers and ways to give the opportunity of bringing music therapy into the world, and this is why I decided to continue working for students as a student delegate for the WFMT, to make things easier in the future! Lets get connected and stay in touch!Tamara Ziegler, ASD Europe (Germany)
