This year’s theme, “Connecting Borders,” reflects the ways music therapy brings people together across cultures, communities, and experiences. Inspired by the upcoming World Congress of Music Therapy in Bologna, this theme highlights how music therapy:
- Bridges cultures and communities
- Blends tradition and innovation
- Builds interdisciplinary connections
- Supports personal and relational growth
As part of this special week, we invite you to take part in the World Music Therapy Photo Competition 2026 by voting for the most engaging image that captures the essence of music therapy.
