As a music therapy trainee, being in the WCMT 2017 was an incredible opportunity. I was able to get in touch with lots of experienced music therapists, researchers and trainees from all over the world! The whole congress was full of passion and energy in terms of exchanging ideas and experience in seminars and workshops. I also understood further on Japanese culture through various programs and roundtables with local students. It created an excellent platform for me to meet music therapy students and built up great friendship, especially with the ASD team! I can hardly wait for the next WCMT in south Africa!
